Frequencies of alleles at two or more loci
In the above cases, we have taken into consideration, situations of a single locus with two or more than two alleles. We can, however, discuss situations where frequencies of genes at two or more than two loci and those of the genotypes derived from them are to be determined. In such situations it can be demonstrated that the equilibrium stage can not be reached within one single generation. Details about such cases will be available in a more advanced textbook, and the readers are referred to Strickberger's 'Genetics' or Falconer's "Introduction to Quantitative Genetics'.
